An amazing track by my good friend Ryan, who goes by the musical moniker Young Waves. He just finished his second EP of mostly instrumental material and you can hear it here.
Being as though Ryan lives a brief two minutes away from me in Toronto, I’ve had the chance to go over and visit his place a bunch of times in the past month and check out his recording set up. From his Bandcamp :: “Everything was recorded using a handheld 4-track and a loop pedal, and no computers were used whatsoever at any point”. To say this is anything less than amazing would be selling Ryan short.
