KIZMET SOLO DEBUT SHOW

(TORONTO – September 24th 2012) After a decade of vandalism and shadow-lurking, painting under the moniker of Kizmet, ███-██████, Toronto-based graffiti writer has decided to unveil his new body of work in his first ever self-titled solo art show.
For the past ten years ███-██████ has been actively a part of the underground graffiti community, organizing countless street art events like the notorious “largest graffiti production wall in Canada” located along the train tracks at Queen and Dufferin, and the ComeUnity festival which transformed a by-law threatened alleyway at Dundas W. Stn alleyway into street art history just to name a few.
███-██████ has spent the majority of his years bringing artists together through different events to showcase their work and creativity. In 2009, ███-██████ and the 32 Faceless Few Krew opened up the Funktion Gallery at Bloor and Lansdowne as a forum for local street artists to showcase their work to a new demographic. After the dissolution of the Funktion Gallery, ███-██████ went on to work in conjunction with several community organizations and youth groups teaching experimental art classes and hosting mural production programs.
For years, ███-██████ has been vigorously preparing to unveil his real identity before his immediate departure from Canada due to █████████ █████████ ████████████████████████████come buy this artwork██ █ ██ █ █ ██ ██████████████ █████████████ ██ ███████████ ████ █ ██ ██ ███████ █████████ █████ █BRING MONEY ████ ████ ███ so this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the public to meet Kizmet before his pre-destined fate.
On October 19th, Kizmet will be showcasing a totally new multi-disciplinary body of work which includes a collection of spray paint, graffiti, sculptures and paintings for his first ever solo exhibit.
